Sippin’ Time Sessions

September 30th, 2007 by Vincent

In 1991, Blind Melon worked on an EP, produced by longtime Neil Young producer David Briggs and titled The Sippin’ Time Sessions. Nothing came out officialy from these sessions. In the Letters From A Porcupine documentary, you can see snippets of the band playing Soul One live. Today, thanks to Matt of, watch the 3 takes shoted that day.
By the way, yesterday was Brad Smith’s birthday, so happy birthday Brad!

Stuff like that is priceless man. I’ve been a fan since 1992 and it’s always a treat when stuff like this gets posted. Are you guys ever gonna put out some old live recordings cause I know that somewhere there has to be some vintage stuff hidden and just waiting for dire hard melonheads like me to enjoy.
