Throughout 2009, the Blind Melon Forum was able to raise $500 to help cover some of Nel Hoon’s costs with the annual vigil in celebration of Shannon’s birthday! Donations came in from all over the world from regular vigil folks as well as people who had never even heard of it before and they came in all amounts (ranging from $5 to $150). How cool is that? Nel was very touched and asked to thank you all for your incredible kindness!

So now it’s time to start thinking about the 2010 vigil that will take place in 4 months. The Blind Melon forum staff has opened up the 2010 fund and is counting on your generosity once again. Every dollar helps!
