Regarding the new Abandon Jalopy album, Brad has some great news: “… I have been writing and recording what was supposed to be a EP, here I am 20 songs later and I don’t know how I am gonna go about releasing them, I have 4 EPs! I don’t know what my next step is, especially since I have 4 more half finished songs that need to be completed. I’m thinking about releasing a EP/vinyl at the beginning of next year…”
Glen Graham has just announced on the Blind Melon Forum that he’s formed a band called The Jake Leg with Joe Tullos. The band will be playing at the Blue Bayou in Hillsborough, NC on November 21st.

The Jake Leg are:

Glen Graham - Drums
Joe Tullos - Vocals, Guitar
Greg Bell - Piano, Organ, Accordion, Vocals,etc.. (Greg was in Chapel Hill’s infamous Chicken Wire Gang)

“This band is a very casual affair. The recording below is just something we had lying around and I just slapped a second drum kit on it a couple of days ago (since we are a two drum set band). We just needed some kind of example of how we sound. That song is called Alpha Ray and is one of around 20 of Joe’s songs we have arranged for two drummers.” Glen says.
