I’ve just received my copy of the Blind Melon tribute cd and the result is amazing!
First, the design of the album is simply beautiful and most important thing, the covers are really well done and well produced. I am not going to comment the 14 songs, all I can say is that it’s totally worth getting this tribute cd.

Also, the 2nd Unified Theory album called ‘Cinematic’ is on its way featuring unreleased songs. The guys have planned to release this album on iTunes around February 2007 and they are back in studio this Tuesday to shot a video for the song ‘15 Hits’. No physical release of the cd has been planned yet.

Yakmusic have just released the cover for Twenty Stories Below - The Blind Melon Tribute Album featuring bands from all around the world. The design of this album has been made by Nathan Rattray with the help from all the photos taken by Mario Pereira of Chicago who now owns Shannon Hoon’s Ford Galaxie.

The Meek (Glen Graham’s North Carolina band) has recorded 2 new songs that should be available online by December 10, 2006 on their website. The Meek has already a 6 song EP you can download for just a few bucks here and Glen will join the melon guys in January for a new recording session at the Wishbone studio but today is his birthday so… Happy Birthday!
