The first debut solo album from Travis T Warren of Blind Melon, called “Beneath These Borrowed Skies”, was digitally released on September 25. “There’s no doubt about it that music saved my life,” Travis says. The album was written and produced by Travis himself and mixed by Rob Schnapf (Elliot Smith, Beck, Guided By Voices). There will a CD release and Vinyl shortly after.

The LookOut Kids are Sarah Scarlata and Travis T. Warren. Both were playing in a band called Rain Fur Rent before Travis joined Blind Melon in 2006. Take a look at the band facebook page here and enjoy the music.
The LookOut Kids will be playing at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, CA on Wednesday May 11th and at Molly Malones in Los Angeles, CA on Friday June 3rd.

Travis will then join Blind Melon for a summer US and South American tour:

More dates should be announced soon. According to Rogers Stevens, it is very possible that the band will be visiting Europe during the summer. I also heard about Japan and Australia. Stay tuned!

Chris Shinn, Christopher Thorn, Brad Smith and Dave Krusen will be playing together again on August 4th at King King Hollywood.

Hello Everyone,
I know this is long passed due but I’m finally making my music available.
This is for everyone in the past couple of years who has written me about how they can get my music.
One of the main reasons I have waited this long is in the back of mind I have had plans  for getting my music at least on disk but for many different reasons that hasn’t happened yet. Since most people have turned to digital downloads anyways, it makes no since to delay it any longer. Currently I have 10 songs available but if there is something in particular you are looking for, let me know and I will have it up for you asap. I’m in the process of putting up live shows,home demo’s and anything else I can dig up. I’m sure some of you could probably find a lot of this music on the net or for free somewhere but that doesn’t really help me at all now does it?? If I was completely loaded and didn’t have to worry about money then I would say, “here, take it for free, I have no need for money” but unfortunately that’s not the case.
So if you could contribute to the cause that would be greatly appreciated and it would also allow me to keep doing what I love doing which is making music for all of you ; )

Blind Melon is going to do the New Year Eve show in Dearborn, MI with Travis Warren and not with Chris Shinn as previously said. It sounds like Travis and the Blind Melon guys had a talk lately and they decided to go out on a positive note with Travis. After that show, Blind Melon is looking forward to make more plans, probably with another singer. Stay tuned…
