Today is Rogers Stevens birthday, so have a good day Rogers!

I guess it’s the perfect day to remind you about an amazing audio recording that Ryan Conway has uploaded a few weeks ago on This is actually a 2 hours long interview of Rogers Stevens and Christopher Thorn conducted by Steve Rosen of Ultimate Guitar Magazine during the “For My Friends” sessions at Blind Melon studios in North Hollywood, CA. The tape was actually not meant to be broadcasted but was only for Steve Rosen to use the information to write his article.

Christopher Thorn interviewed by Greg Prato

Auto Date Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Greg Prato recently interviewed Christopher Thorn for about the forthcoming Shannon Hoon / Blind Melon documentary.

The still-untitled DVD is being directed by Colleen Hennessy and developed through Danny Clinch’s production company, Three on the Tree. While it will feature footage from several sources, the main focus of the film is the hours of footage Shannon Hoon shot himself over the years.
“…It’s one thing to read somebody’s writing, but when somebody looks into the camera, and you see the fear, the sadness, or the happiness. I would say it’s even more intimate… “ says Christopher Thorn. “…People are going to be absolutely blown away…” he adds.
