Christopher Thorn’s new band, “Sonny Boy Thor”n cover “Eagles of Death Metal”’s “I Love You All The Time”. with special guest Rami Jaffee.
For every cover sold, the band pledges to donate 100% of its publishing income to The Sweet Stuff Foundation that will aid the surviving family members of those killed in the November 13 Paris attacks—as well as the family of slain Eagles Of Death Metal crew member Nick Alexander.

Joon Wolfsberg is a young german artist. I made a post last year about her album “Made in USA” that featured a song named “Blind Melon” dedicated to the late Shannon Hoon. “I love so much the old Blind Melon. My favorite songs are Paper Scratcher and Change” she said.
Her lastest album “Wonderland” will come out on June 1st in Europe and a few weeks later in the US. Click the image below and watch the making of the studio recording.
A big thank you to Sofia from Germany for the tip!

Brad Smith has recently posted a message on the Blind Melon Forum about the new Abandon Jalopy record.
The fans have been waiting for it for years but Brad has been busy producing bands and focusing on the Blind Melon reunion. It sounds like it’s time now for Brad to make the lastest steps and release the record! He actually plans on mastering the record in mid February, after the Blind Melon show in Albuquerque, NM.
It’s going to be called “Death And Joy”, will have 11 songs on it and will be available on iTunes first. Rogers Stevens and Christopher Thorn have participated to this album along with Rami Jaffee (keyboards), Jimmy Paxson (drums) and many others.
If you want to listen to a song that will probably be part of the record, watch the video below:
