Science! is an acoustic duo from Seattle. They are about to release their debut EP with Glen Graham from Blind Melon involved on the project. The band has just started a KICKSTARTER campaign to raise enough money to cover expenses for studio time, sound engineers, artwork, press, publicity and radio promotion. After only 3 days, they already have reached their minimum goal of $2500 but they still need your help and will be using additional funds for radio, publicity and additional production. So please, check out this KICKSTARTER campaign and consider helping these guys out.

“I’m getting ready to put an ad in Jam Bands. I’m available” told Glen Graham a few days ago to Jeff Pearlman. Glen has a now a web page entitled “I Want To Be Your Drummer”. Blind Melon is still a functionning entity however “we are only doing the occasional one-off and currently have no plans to record full-length CDs” says Glen. After 10 years, Glen has also “given up trying to find people locally to develop projects” and is looking for a full time drumming position for a group. Visit Glen’s page here.

The Meek was a band Glen Graham (of Blind Melon) formed in 2005 with Stuart Cole (of The Squirrel Nut Zippers) and Joe Tullos. The band played a few gigs in the Chapel Hill, NC area and made an EP named “Relax, it’s later than you think…” that came out in October 2006. That was during the Blind Melon reunion with Travis Warren so The Meek didn’t actually go further.
During these days, Glen made some nice videos for 4 of their songs: ‘All Mine’, ‘My Girl Summer’, ‘Nein Eight’ and ‘I’m A Quasar’ and Joe made an alternate video for ‘All Mine’. I just got the permission from these three gentlemen to upload them on beemelon.com so take a look and enjoy…

The rest of the videos are available here.
Thank you to Joe Tullos, Glen Graham and Stuart Cole for the permission.

During the DC live interview yesterday, Glen Graham told Curt Bisquera about his e-session drumming experience: basically, you can hire Glen Graham to put drums or percussion on your own musical project. All you have to do is send your song, then Glen will make 3 complete takes that you can use as you wish and send the song back to you.
“… this is the wave of the future…” said Glen.
Rogers Stevens and Brad Smith also record e-sessions.
