The Meek was a band Glen Graham (of Blind Melon) formed in 2005 with Stuart Cole (of The Squirrel Nut Zippers) and Joe Tullos. The band played a few gigs in the Chapel Hill, NC area and made an EP named “Relax, it’s later than you think…” that came out in October 2006. That was during the Blind Melon reunion with Travis Warren so The Meek didn’t actually go further.
During these days, Glen made some nice videos for 4 of their songs: ‘All Mine’, ‘My Girl Summer’, ‘Nein Eight’ and ‘I’m A Quasar’ and Joe made an alternate video for ‘All Mine’. I just got the permission from these three gentlemen to upload them on beemelon.com so take a look and enjoy…

The rest of the videos are available here.
Thank you to Joe Tullos, Glen Graham and Stuart Cole for the permission.

The Meek’s website is online since yesterday and a 6-song EP called Relax, it’s later than you think… is available here. The Meek is Blind Melon drummer Glen Graham with bassist Stu Cole (formely of The Squirrel Nuts Zippers) and guitarist/singer Joe Tullos. The design of the website has been done by the well-known, among the melon community, Soul and Ryan from Sugar Soul Productions.
The Meek will be back in studio in November to 3 or 4 more songs that should be available on the website by December 1st. As you already know, Glen Graham, Rogers Stevens, Brad Smith and Chris Thorn have reunited to reform Blind Melon with singer Travis Warren but the guys are still working on or finishing other projects before it starts for good.
