Through the years, Brooks Graham has taken thousands of photos of Blind Melon both on and off stage. She will be offering a handful of these exclusively through ETSY.
Brooks has uploaded the first photos from the Shannon era. These will include images from shows, video shoots, in-store appearances, Kingsway, tour rehearsals, etc… She will also be offering around 40 photos from the Travis era in the coming weeks as well as a color poster (32″x 25″) featuring images from the last 2 years of touring. 7 new photos will be added every week or two so check the store often for updates.
All photos are printed by my Glen Graham himself. Each photo are in editions of 50 and will be signed and numbered.

Brad Smith has been working on a new Abandon Jalopy EP lately called ‘Death And Joy’. It’s almost finished and Brad plans on releasing it in a few months. Stay tuned.

Greg Prato recently put out a new book that collects most of the magazine articles he wrote for UK mags from 2003-2008, and it’s titled ‘No Schlock…Just Rock!’ In the book is the Blind Melon article done for Classic Rock Magazine back in October 2004 (titled ‘Gala Performance’), which served as a precursor for what would eventually become ‘An Angel on One Shoulder and a Devil on the Other: The Story of Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon.’
Also, another one of his books came out on April 1st, ‘Grunge is Dead: The Oral History of Seattle Rock Music,’ for which he interviewed members of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc…

Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn have been invited to play with Codename Mike formed by drummer Dave Krusen (Candelbox, Pearl Jam and Unified Theory) and singer Benny Marchant (The Kings Royal). Brad and Chris are in studio now with Codename Mike and will play a couple shows in June.

Christopher Thorn cleary said that Brad and him didn’t join Codename Mike, they’ve only been asked by Benny Marchant to play in studio and do a few shows. Blind Melon is still their top priority.
